A Message About Garrett's Light
Garrett's Light, a fund established in memory of Garrett Wall Feldmann, is folding its efforts into those of The Friends of Quiet Waters to create a garden for families to enjoy quiet reading time together. The garden will enhance the peaceful and educational benefits of the established native plant garden, nature trails, and soon-to-be-built butterfly garden. In addition to the garden, Garrett's Light hopes to spark an interest in creating nature programs and outdoor experiences for children of all ages visiting Quiet Waters Park. Fittingly, Garrett's memory will be part of the park's Earth Day celebration which will include family activities, music, story telling, and kite flying. While Garrett's Light is largely supported by individual donors, AOL is a corporate sponsor. The group continues to seek additional local and national businesses to support its mission
