The Friends of Quiet Waters Park is a non-profit organization founded in 1990 and duly registered in the state of Maryland. The objective of the Friends is to support the operations of Quiet Waters Park - an Anne Arundel County Park - and to receive and maintain funds and real and/or personal property and apply such assets to:
the operation, preservation, development, and enrichment of Quiet Waters Park
furthering public education, awareness, research, interest in, and appreciation for the history, ecology, environment, and recreational aspects of Quiet Waters Park
sponsoring affiliate organizations to facilitate the above named objectives
engage in any other activity, as may be desirable, in support of the above named activities
